One week after the purchase of Chateau Otin I took my friends to show them the place. The estate was smothered in red and yellow leaves and that somehow veiled all the nuances of its condition. The place looked flawless and it seemed that it could open its doors to host a beautiful dinner already now. I had just recently learned and was particularly fascinated by the fact that František Palacký and Teresa Mechurova got married here at Chateau Otin. My friend Dina, a popular and a very talented photographer, was with me that day and we decided that we should do an autumn wedding here right now!
As a photographer she has a good eye for romantic settings and saw in a ducky garden pavilion the perfect background for the wedding shots. I certainly wanted to bring an old beautiful love story back here and at the same time to celebrate with my friends the beginning of a new chapter of my life, connected to this place. We found a groom and a bride, the priest and the guests, cleaned the garden, brought chairs, flowers, plates and glasses and had our first wonderful dinner all together at Chateau Otin.
