Overview
Gloriette
- Built in 1765.
- Style: Baroque.
- Cultural heritage: 18th-century frescoes, presumably by the hand of the court architect of Bohemia, the main fortifier of Prague – Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer.
- Historical value: the place where Frantisek Palacky spent time writing and and where his wedding with Tereza Mechurova took place in 1827.
- Listed building. Protected by the National Heritage Organisation.
- Size: 55 m2 built up, 137 m2 total.
- Was used as a northern entrance to the park and as a pavilion for relaxation with panoramic 360 view.
Chateau
- Built in XIV century as a fortress, in XVIII century rebuild as a manor house.
- Style: the main architecture is baroque, the facade was rebuilt in the empire style in 1818.
- Legacy: the place where Frantisek Palacky wrote two volumes of “The History of the Czech Nation in Bohemia and Moravia”.
- Listed building. Protected by the National Heritage Organisation
- Size: 1400 m2.
Garden

Pond

- Located in the southern part of the garden

A natural swimming pond and “A” Pier – Sunday language school for local children.
